COLLEGE INSTRUCTORS

Nonprofit Variable Pay
Course Number: 72

CCP/CBP/GRP Notes:

Determining how much one should pay an employee in terms of incentives has a far-reaching impact on an organization’s compensation, income, and expense planning. Incentive strategy (balancing incentives with base salary) is the heart of benefit and compensation strategy and management. Many organizations have adopted incentive plans with the one goal of increasing performance. This course provides the framework by which to ensure your nonprofit organization/clients never face an unreasonable compensation challenge. Written from the perspective of those who have served as expert witnesses at the federal court level, this course offers practical approaches to ensure against complaints from disenfranchised boards, the IRS, and other outside agencies and regulatory bodies.
